Saturday was the first day of the float parades for the Carnival here in Guaymas. They said that the parade was going to start at 3 PM, we knew that it wouldn't be on time but headed downtown with some friends early in order to get a good spot to watch. We wanted to be able to get a good glimpse of our neighbour Beto in his role of Rey Feo.
We sat and people watched for awhile before the parade started. Sometimes I think the people watching is more fun than the actual parade watching.
The vendors were out in force selling everything imaginable food, drinks, sweets, toys, hats, belts, cotton candy, masks, mustaches, eyebrows, etc.. If you wanted it they had it.
Lots of cute kids in attendance. This little guy is ready to go with his bag of confetti.
We were really waiting to see our young neighbour Beto of course.
More photos tomorrow.
