Hills Or Mountains?

Are they hills or mountains? They are called both here by different people. Compared to the Rockie Mountains in Alberta/B.C. in Canada they are probably hills; but compared to the hills in Saskatchewan where I grew up they would be considered mountains. You can call them whatever you want.
I took these yesterday as we drove out of Guaymas on our way to San Carlos for breakfast. They are not the best quality as they were all taken out of the car window as we drove; but they will give you an idea of the land around here. Some of the tourist promotion stuff here brags about the beauty of the area, saying it is a place where, " the desert and the mountains meet the sea" and it is indeed beautiful in my mind.
