Yesterday morning we woke up to a gray morning and a fairly steady rain. It rained for a few hours which was great. It started clearing off and warming up after lunch though, getting back to our regularily scheduled weather of hot and humid.
It is so nice when it rains here, it washes all the dust off of the trees and it smells so fresh. It doesn't happen that often, so we enjoy it when it does.
This morning it is partially cloudy, so we will see what the day will bring; but I really don't expect more rain.
According to MSN weather our July average for rainfall is 1.52 cm or 0.6 inches which I think we have already had so far this month. July and September are the months of heaviest rainfall here according to them and that seems about right from our experience.
