Lighting The Christmas Tree

Last night we went downtown for the lighting of the Christmas Tree in centro on the malecon turistico. We went down a little early so that we could get seats and wandered around for awhile. This annual event was put on by both the city and DIF and they had a dance group called Roglop from Obregon. The mayor came on and made his speech and then the dance group performed. After the group finished performing, Santa Claus made his appearance on stage with a bunch of the little kids from DIF. This over our friends and us, along with the rest of the people made our way to the Fuente Danzante and watched the fountain show to the sounds of christmas songs. A nice evening.
