Plaza Republica In Mazatlan

We got our taxi to drop us at the Plaza Republica. The plaza is full of shoeshine stands everywhere that you look. We wandered around a bit and this is what we saw.

The municipal building.

The coca cola Christmas tree.

The kiosk.

The nativity scene.

The church.

We sat and did some people watching and then decided to wander around the old town area a bit. We arrived at the Teatro Angela Peralta and decided to go inside and have a look around. The theatre itself is a wonderful building inside. It was pretty dark in there so I didn't even attempt to take any photos; but if you ever get a chance to go there, do. It is a great building with a lot of history behind it.

From there we wandered over to the Plaza Machado; but I will save that for tomorrow as there is enough pictures already on this post.
