A Walk On The Beach
It didn't feel too bad outside this morning so I suggested to Roy that we head to Miramar for a walk on the beach. We haven't gone out there for what seems like a long time, as it has been so hot.
We decided that as we were going to be gone over our lunch hour, we better stop first and have shrimp tacos at our favorite taco stand. As usual they were delicious and with our tummies full we caught a bus uptown and then another bus out to Miramar.
The temperature wasn't too hot and there was a nice breeze coming off of the water. We walked along the beach from one end to other and then stopped for a drink before catching the bus back into town. A nice relaxing couple of hours.
While we were sitting here having an ice cold coke, I couldn't help but think of my sister who at this time is sitting in a hockey arena in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada. She is probably drinking a hot chocolate and trying to stay warm. Gee, I really miss that!!!!
