Groceries
We went to a couple of local stores for some groceries this morning. The local ISSSTE store and our neighborhood mini market, where we buy our meat from the butcher shop in the store. We probably would have gotten the stuff cheaper had we gone to Soriana, VH or Ley; but the majority of the time we shop in our own neighborhood. We go to the larger stores for the things that we can't get in the smaller shops.
The combined total from the two stores was 335.35 pesos or around $33.53 dollars. I will put a list of what we bought below the photo.
Items Purchased:
2 large boneless,skinless chicken breasts
1/2 kilo ground beef
1 kilo rice
2 packages of microwave popcorn
Chicken bouillon cubes, box of 8
Spaghetti 200 grams
Small jar of garlic powder
1 can corn
2 kilograms of sugar
400 gram size of margarine
Can of hairspray
1 litre of cooking oil
440 gram size of soda crackers (15. 2 oz.)
145 ml. size bottle of worcestershire sauce
2 small (210 gram) tomato sauce
1 large (350 gm-12.3 oz) tomato sauce
12 double rolls of toilet paper (toilet paper is expensive here-I think)
That's it, I have no idea if it is cheap or expensive but that is what it is here.
