Dredging In The Marina
The other day when we went out in San Carlos, we stopped off at one of the marinas to show G./F. around. It is also one of my favorite stops as I like to watch the pelicans.
They have a small dredging machine (I am sure this machine has a proper name; but I don't know what it is), on a little barge. They were busy dredging and loading the debris into little baskets on another small barge. After the baskets were full, a boat pulled and pushed it into place close to the shore. Here they were hooked up to another machine and then taken and dumped. We have seen them doing this before; but I had never had the camera with me at the other times. It is a small operation; but apparently gets the job done.
