Watching You, Watching Me

Watching You, Watching Me
While we were having our morning coffee, we heard a taxi cab pull up and G. and his wife,F. hopped out. We were expecting them; but weren't sure what time they would arrive as they were taking the bus. We had met G. last year through the blog and then he came and spent 2 weeks in the ground floor apartment, so we got to spend some time with him and get to know him in person. This year his wife came along with him, which is nice and they are staying in the apartment again. Great to see him again and nice to meet his wife, also.
I had an errand that I had forgotten to do while we were in San Carlos the last 2 weeks, duh, so we decided to go there today and get it done, as I had to send the person the info. soon. We asked them if they would like to come with us and take some time to show F. around. They did, so after going for shrimp tacos for breakfast we all did our own things until time to leave. We headed to San Carlos and then the Marina and the Mirador (outlook), we then drove home through the Miramar area and did some sightseeing. It's a tough life, ain't it?
It was cloudy today, which is unusual for here and we actually had some raindrops for a few minutes, very odd. It felt chilly to us; but shortly after the sun did come out and Roy and I eventually took off our jackets. G. and F. were much warmer than we were I think; but then they are from Alberta where it is just a bit cooler right now than it is here.
Naturally, I had taken the camera and couldn't resist taking some pictures of the pelicans, which I love.
This fellow was really giving me the eye! Not sure who was watching who. "Here's looking at you kid".

Not a very good picture; but sure shows the colors on his beak. He was having an altercation with a buddy.

I never get enough of this view from the Mirador.
