(Note: It is hard to keep up with all of the holidays here. Wednesday the 30th of April was Dia de los Niños, May 1st was Labour Day and May 5th is Cinco de Mayo. )
We decided to go to the Plaza and feed the birds and people watch. Some of the stores were closed for the holiday and the traffic was certainly calm compared to its usual frantic pace.
We got off the bus, wandered over to the malecón and checked out what was happening in the bay for awhile before heading over to the park.
We had remembered to bring a bag of food for the birds and they were happy to see us, well they were happy to see the food anyway.
This was my favorite one, he was a real glutton.

A nice, relaxing afternoon. Sitting in the park under the shade of the big trees, feeding the birds and people watching. I guess we have truly morphed into retired people. Oh well, it is certainly more fun than working.
